Good People Disobey Bad Laws

"In any civilized society, it is every citizen's responsibility to obey just laws. But at the same time, it is every citizen's responsibility to disobey unjust laws." - Martin Luther King, Jr. 1928-1968

It is without a doubt that any advancement made in the fight against Marijuana Prohibition is owed to those that selflessly risk their own freedom for the freedom of many. Accrediting those that continuously put themselves forward, it goes without saying that every bit of involvement is invaluable. Having just recently joined the movement, I can tell you that simply sitting through a meeting will inspire you to do more, if not, at least educate you and allow the opportunity to meet some really great, like minded people.

Now is the time to support a cause that is on the verge of victory. I can tell you that I am excited to be a part of something I believe in, and when the day comes that we no longer have to fight, I will be proud to say that I contributed, even if just a little.

However, has this “black market” not been created by the prohibition itself, essentially allowing criminals to create a monopoly?
